The homeowners wanted a home with personality, not just a big, blank canvas.
We took on this landed property renovation in Singapore by leaning into colour and shape as the main design language. Playful details, like scalloped wardrobe doors and a hand-painted mural wall, give the home a warm, artistic feel that still stays practical for everyday family life.
In the kitchen and dining area, a sliding mirrored pass-through window connects the two spaces, while a terrazzo backsplash and wood countertop bring texture against otherwise simple grey cabinets. A separate coffee corner uses a rich wood backsplash to feel distinct from the main kitchen, giving the family a proper spot to slow down.
In the bedrooms, scalloped wardrobe doors in blush pink and cream turn a functional piece of carpentry into a real design feature, while a hand-painted mural wall in soft, organic shapes adds a creative touch without needing patterned wallpaper.
