At Brickwood Studio, our vision for this 322T HDB interior design project in Tengah was to move away from the bright, high-contrast look typical of most HDB BTOs and create a calm, grounded, and quietly luxurious home. Every material, from the fluted charcoal tiles to the soft plaster finishes, was chosen to add warmth and texture rather than visual noise. Sculptural curves and layered, warm lighting carry through from the entryway to the bedrooms, giving this 322T interior design Singapore project a sense of continuity throughout. It’s a space where even the everyday corners feel considered, proof that a Tengah HDB interior design doesn’t need to follow the standard BTO look.
Brickwood Studio’s approach for this 322T project was to treat the home as one continuous design rather than a series of separate rooms. Rounded corners, fluted textures, and niche detailing repeat across the living, dining, kitchen, and bathroom spaces, creating a strong sense of flow between zones. A restrained material palette of taupe, charcoal, and walnut brings depth and richness without overwhelming the compact footprint. The result is a BTO flat interior design that feels boutique and considered, while still working hard for daily family living.
This 322T project’s finishing choices lean into texture and warmth, using tactile, layered materials in place of flat, standard BTO finishes. A fluted tile interior design anchors the living room’s TV feature wall, while rounded cabinetry and niches soften the straight lines of the original layout throughout the home. Cove lighting runs consistently across the living, kitchen, and bathroom spaces, paired with terrazzo-style stone countertops and walnut wood accents in the wet areas. Layered sheer and blackout curtains complete the look, adding softness to the dining and living zones.
